CrossRoads Community Church
BRINGING CHRIST'S COMPASSION TO PEOPLE AT THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE!

Welcome to CrossRoads Community Church website! I hope you will find the information helpful to you, whether you are searching for a church to attend or just seeking the information available on the web. We are located about 15 minutes east of Syracuse, NY in an area providing Suburban convenience, but also a “small-town” atmosphere.

CrossRoads was launched in 1998 by about 50 faith-filled people who had a vision for a church with contemporary style and Scripture-based teaching . We have been blessed with steady growth since then, with over 200 adults in services each week. We are a non-denominational evangelical church with a broad spectrum of people in our church family. Our services are intentionally geared to address the needs common to both initial seekers and long time followers of Christ. Our music style is upbeat and messages focused on applying the wisdom of Scripture to contemporary issues in life. Our children’s ministry team is experienced and enthusiastic and has dedicated themselves to making church the best hour of a child’s week. The feedback we receive from parents confirms that they are accomplishing their goal. Youth ministry provides a combination of fun events and relevant teaching for the issues faced by today’s teens. The team is passionate about equipping teens to make the transition to adult life as a follower of Jesus and contributor to His Kingdom work.

My wife Betsy and I moved numerous times during my time in the U.S. Navy and I sympathize with the challenges posed when living in transition. Finding a church is a very important decision. We recognize that God has provided different kinds of churches to meet the needs of different people. We believe you will find this a caring and welcoming community. If the information we have provided seems to fit with you, I hope you will visit and see for yourself. If you have any further questions, please email me directly at mickvl@twcny.rr.com or phone me at the church office. I hope to have the opportunity to greet you in person sometime!

God’s best to you
