Community
Volunteer is important to foster a desire for the student to give back
to their community in a positive way and to provide the student with a
healthy sense of accomplishment. Our volunteer efforts have included visits to the local nursing home, filling almost
2000 plastic eggs with candy for the yearly town Easter egg hunts,
ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at Christmas, raising money for
the 911 disaster, completing various helpful projects for the church,
putting together and participating in a puppet, musical, and athletic
program at a local day care center for children and making favors for the
local Senior Citizen's luncheons.
